Cuvier Club by Wedgewood Weddings

We tied the knot at Cuvier Club on Nov. 2nd, 2025, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience with the folks at CC and Wedgewood Weddings. First and most importantly, the venue itself is beautiful. The adjacent garden courtyard is intimate yet spacious, and there are plenty of lovely plants growing to provide privacy from the street and a nice backdrop for your ceremony (the space was nice and green, even in November). The beach side ceremony space is incredible as well, though our guest count was a bit too high for that spot. CC is a five-minute walk from the beach for stunning photos, and we found it relatively easy to find parking near the venue on the day-of, which made loading in and out a breeze. The staff is A+, and the CC planning crew went above and beyond to alleviate the stress of planning a wedding. They were very responsive to questions, communicated clearly, and sought to listen to and understand my fiancee and I (which was appreciated when the "wedding brain" kicked in and we stopped being able to put together coherent sentences). Also important to note that we had a Hindu ceremony and CC had no trouble accommodating our requests! That was a huge relief for us, since as an interracial couple, we knew that our wedding needed to be a marriage of cultures as well. During our wedding weekend, coordinators Amanda and Tyler stepped up and made sure everything was running smoothly. Not only did they stay cool and calm throughout (which helped us stay calm as well!) they also made sure that we had everything that we needed. They checked in frequently and took care of us, and we could not be more grateful for their professionalism and guidance. Their attention to detail and demeanor meant that we were able to relax and actually enjoy our wedding weekend! The vendors that CC partners with are also phenomenal and do excellent work! Not to mention the food and drinks were incredible. We've received endless compliments about the drinks and food since the reception! The bartender for our event was very professional and mixed excellent cocktails. We brought in our own recipes for our signature drinks and the CC bartender (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) made them perfectly. The other standard cocktails were, according to our guests, also very well made and high-quality. We're so grateful and thankful that we found this venue! We never dreamed our wedding day would come together so perfectly, and it's all thanks to the folks at CC. I cannot recommend CC/Wedgewood Weddings enough.

Our wedding turned out better than I could have ever expected. We were nervous planning the wedding since we did not live in California but Cuvier Club and the wedding planners did an amazing job guiding us through the options and making sure that we were happy with everything. Our wedding planner, Mandi, was super sweet and she made sure we had everything we needed. It was the most stress-free wedding planning and everything, from the flowers, the food, and the overall wedding, was amazing. Our wedding was relatively small, less than 50 guests, but Cuvier Club still made our wedding feel special. We had our ceremony at the Wedding Bowl, which was beautiful and fulfilled my dreams of getting married by the water. I would recommend this wedding venue 100% of the time!

Where to even begin...we cannot say enough amazing things about the staff (and vendors) at the Cuvier Club. This was the first and only venue we interviewed with and even though we had to do the interview over Zoom (we live in the Bay and didn't see the venue until two months before our wedding) talking to Anders made us instantly sure that this was the one for us. Not only did they make it really really easy because of the all-inclusive option but the vendors that are part of the package are phenomenal, each and every one of them. Planning a wedding from another part of the state is not easy but honestly, the staff of the Cuvier Club (especially Anders) made it feel like we were supported every single step of the way. As for the day of, Anders, Selina, and Morgan were ABSOLUTELY incredible! Selina asked all the right questions and gave the best support and Anders showed up to help "just because". We had crazy wind the day of and I was freaking out about it being too cold and they both made sure we were still able to pull off our vision perfectly. Morgan was by our side the whole reception making sure we were not only on schedule but AHEAD of schedule (when does that even happen?!) Our guests had nothing but incredible things to say about the food (Renato made the best cupcakes), the venue (Mishelle's florals were stunning), the music (Alex is awesome!), the bartender (Asher's the best!), and the party and many told us it was the best wedding they've been to (purely because of the amazing staff)! We just can't thank this venue enough for every part of this experience--we feel like we became friends with them throughout the past year and we recommend them times a million! Best wedding ever!

If you are looking for the BEST venue and catering company for your wedding, this is the place. We are so grateful to have been able to plan our wedding with the most passionate and dedicated workers in the event planning business. Our wedding was absolutely perfect from planning to the actual day!! Anders Cueva was the most personal, warm and thoughtful person from the start of our process to the very end. She guided us through any question or uncertainty that we had about our wedding, allowing us to build the perfect wedding we envisioned. All of our expectations were continuously met, and consistently worked to make sure if there were any (which there were barely any) "bumps in the road" that we could pivot together for an even better idea for our wedding. Anders is the type of worker that will do everything she can to make sure you are happy throughout your entire planning process. The wedding coordinator provided to us by the company was Federico Tomas, a person who excels at being the absolute best at this job. Federico remained in constant communication with us during our planning process, offering us the best ideas and collaboration for our big day. On our wedding day, he was an amazing source of support that was never too far away, making sure we were having the best time. Not only did he make sure we were having a magical day, but all of our guests (138 to be exact) were well taken care of and having an amazing experience! On top of these two incredible workers, was our event captain David and his amazing team of servers during our wedding night. Everyone we spoke to raved about the kindness of every server they communicated with and how attentive Federico was with all the steps of the wedding event. There was not a single hiccup or delay during the event. With all this wonderful service, the food served was out of this world. Our chefs Kyle & Kody serve nothing but the best food, and ensured that even our guests with dietary restrictions were taken care of. The Cuvier Club by Wedgewood Weddings gave us the most perfect wedding. They offer nothing but the best in all corners of the planning process and leave an everlasting impression on everyone that attends their events. Working with this venue and staff should be #1 on your list if you are looking for the wedding of your dreams.

The Cuvier Club is a great spot for a reception, especially if you’re getting married at the Wedding Bowl (about 3/4 mile away) just down the road. It’s a really nice setup for a small to medium-sized wedding party. The main reception hall is lovely and has a welcoming feel to it, and there’s even a stage perfect if you want to have the bride and groom or the whole wedding party up there. There’s also a separate area for appetizers that’s partially covered, which is great because it gives your guests a little break from the sun without feeling closed off. From the outside, you might not even realize it’s a reception venue, but once you’re inside, it’s surprisingly charming and well put together. All in all, it’s a really solid choice if you’re looking for a space that’s close by, elegant without being over the top, and fits a mid-sized celebration comfortably.
