Dartmouth House Wedding Venue in London

I had my wedding here this summer and it was the best experience of my life. Melinda and Roman took care of absolutely EVERYTHING - I didn't have to lift a finger on my wedding day. They coordinated across all my vendors, helped all of our guests, and every transition was seamless. Melinda was so thorough in preparing for the wedding that we felt completely at ease leading up to the day. I cannot recommend Melinda and Roman enough - there were last minute requests / changes and they were so accommodating. The venue itself is spectacular - the courtyard is as beautiful as it looks in the photos and all of the rooms have so much character. The food was consistently prepared and absolutely delicious. I only wish I had been able to eat more of our canapés! I still dream about the scallop poppers. The team did an amazing job ensuring everyone's glasses were always filled and that everyone had enough water at the table. The service was phenomenal. Dartmouth House put on a better wedding than I could have ever imagined - I wish I could relive it everyday! Thank you Melinda, Roman, and to the entire team at Dartmouth House! You gave me the wedding of my dreams!

Cannot say enough good things about Dartmouth House, Melinda, Roman and the entire Dartmouth House team were incredible throughout the entire journey of our wedding. From day one the team helped us through the journey of planning our dream wedding and despite friends telling us something at some point goes wrong, with the team at Dartmouth House this was never a worry! The team were so lovely and communicative through the preparation and our wedding day. The canapés, meal service and drinks were amazing. I cannot stress how highly I would recommend this as a venue, the venue is absolutely stunning but the team behind it is even more incredible. Attended an event at Dartmouth House, located in the heart of Mayfair, and it was an exceptional experience. The venue itself is a beautifully preserved Georgian mansion that exudes sophistication, with its ornate decor, marble staircase, and period details adding a timeless charm. The space is versatile, catering well to both intimate gatherings and larger receptions. The courtyard, in particular, is a hidden gem in central London, providing a tranquil outdoor space that added a refreshing contrast to the grandeur indoors. The catered food, provided by Graysons, was nothing short of excellent. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, featuring high-quality ingredients and presented with meticulous attention to detail. The menu offered a delightful mix of flavours, keeping guests engaged and satisfied. Graysons’ reputation for delivering tailored catering services was clearly evident, as the staff were attentive, seamlessly handling every aspect of the dining experience to perfection. Dartmouth House combines historical elegance with modern amenities, making it a standout location for any high-profile event. With easy access from nearby stations and the scenic backdrop of Mayfair, it’s a perfect choice for those seeking a refined and memorable venue in London.

I cannot sing enough praises about Dartmouth House and the team. I can’t believe what an incredible stroke of luck it was that an outcome of all the hours spent searching for a venue was the most lovely, memorable summer wedding we could have asked for. A special recognition needs to go to our coordinator Camilla Criswell. Our original coordinator left quite abruptly after we signed our contract, to no fault of the venue’s, and much to our dismay as a couple new to wedding planning in general. From the moment Camilla stepped in however, she took the time to understand us as a couple and our ideas for the wedding day, catch up on anything that had been discussed with our previous coordinator, and address any gaps that were the result of switching coordinators. Camilla was always extremely responsive on email, patient and meticulous with details. She took the time to give us unbiased opinions and suggestions, and very much gave us the sense all the way through our interactions that everything was under control which, for a couple getting married for the first time, is much needed. Her wealth of experience was extremely clear from our interactions as at no point did we feel like ‘just another couple’ getting married at Dartmouth House. The food at Dartmouth house is also nothing short of fantastic. The taste and presentation were equally matched in impressiveness. We were able to attend a tasting beforehand which in itself is an experience, and a very nice way for us as a couple to experience a part of the wedding that would fly by on the day. You would also not expect much from house wines typically, but the Dartmouth House house wine is lovely. To the point that we had tried other wines that could have been paired with the food and still preferred the house wine. Before our wedding we had visited Dartmouth house a few different times, that by the time the wedding rolled around, we felt a familiarity with it and all the lovely people who make up one of the most professional teams I’ve had the pleasure of seeing in action at any wedding. On the day of the wedding, Camilla and her colleague Roman took care of everything, needing minimal guidance, with not a single thing going wrong by the end of the day. The wider team at Dartmouth house is warm, ever present and there is a real sense of collaboration amongst everyone. The venue on the day of our wedding looked gorgeous and we had endless comments from our guests about it. Our suppliers also commented on how wonderful the team were to work with. All in all, I would strongly encourage every couple to consider Dartmouth House as their wedding venue. The team go above and beyond to make your day special, the location of the venue is so convenient for guests, and the venue and food together are spectacular. There was nowhere else we would have chosen anyway as from the moment we happened across it we knew it was perfect for us. However now on reflection there is nowhere else we can think of that is better for a wedding in general. Thank you to the team at Dartmouth House!!

We recently had our wedding at Dartmouth House, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The communication throughout the planning process was excellent. Camilla, Roman, and Melinda were all attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Camilla in particular worked closely with us to ensure every detail was exactly as we envisioned it, and her dedication truly showed. The venue itself is stunning, and even when we were faced with some unexpected rain, the team adapted seamlessly, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. The flexibility they showed, especially in allowing us to do a rehearsal beforehand, was greatly appreciated. The catering was also top-notch, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. There was a small misstep with truffle being served on the main dish, which we had requested not to have, but it was such a minor issue that it didn’t affect our overall experience in the slightest. A huge thank you to Camilla, Roman, Melinda, and the entire Dartmouth House team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more wonderful team to work with. Highly recommended!
