Hummingbird House: Enchanting Wedding Venue

We are so glad that we got married at Hummingbird House. The entire space is so beautiful and unique. It was perfect for our wedding of around 100 people. Danny was amazing as we were starting out our wedding planning process. We decided we needed more help and added Kelsey around the beginning of this year to help with planning and coordination. Kelsey was amazing to work with to help us bring our vision to life. She was very responsive and able to meet whenever we had a question. The day of went flawlessly and she was amazing at coordinating with all of the vendors. We didn’t worry about anything on the day of. She thought of every detail and was so on top of everything. I had the pleasure of working at The Hummingbird House, and it is truly a magical venue for weddings and events! The grounds are beautifully landscaped, filled with natural light and charming details that make every corner picture-perfect—ideal for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. As a wedding photographer, I especially appreciated how every space feels curated yet effortless, making it easy to capture authentic, editorial-style moments. The Hummingbird House isn’t just a venue; it’s an experience that leaves couples and their guests feeling relaxed, celebrated, and inspired. If you’re planning a wedding or special event in Austin, I can’t recommend The Hummingbird House enough—it’s a dream location for creating memories that last a lifetime!

This place is so special! We chose it for several reasons, in large part because of how beautiful the venue is and how easy their team makes the whole experience: having a bridal suite and grooms suite on site, full catering kitchen, gorgeous gardens and reception venue that need minimal decor, built in rain plan (greenhouse), etc. They also offer planning packages that make everything truly seamless. It’s also not so remote that you need to worry about transportation. Ultimately, I feel all these built in perks saved us money, stress and hassle. Our wedding was gorgeous and memorable. Danny and his team were such a joy to work with every step of the way. We’ll forever treasure this beautiful wedding venue!

We love Hummingbird House! Danny is absolutely incredible and such a pleasure to work with, and you’ll hear the same confirmed by any vendor he works with. Not only did Danny help us with every little detail during our wedding planning, but he ensured all of it came together perfectly on our special day. Our loved ones cannot stop talking about how much they enjoyed the wedding. We have been given the title of “best wedding ever,” and we attribute that to Danny. As soon as we toured Hummingbird House, we knew we didn't need to tour anywhere else. It’s the perfect environment for a perfect day. Danny is always making upgrades to the property and there is always something blooming, so you’ll have a magnificent background regardless of the time of year. Every inch of the property is a great backdrop for a beautiful photo, and having the bride/groom rooms, the ceremony space, the cocktail area, and the reception area within a few feet of each other is so, so convenient. We cannot recommend HBH and Danny enough!

The best venue in Texas, hands down! Danny was incredible, always quick to answer questions and so helpful every step of the way. We had the pleasure of working with Kelsey for a full year, and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She went above and beyond to make everything personal and seamless, constantly checking in and making sure our vision came to life perfectly. Their care, organization, and attention to detail made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. On our wedding day, everything ran so smoothly, the details were stunning, and we truly had the best time. We’re endlessly grateful for all the love and effort they put into making our day unforgettable. Highly recommend to any couple looking for a team who truly cares! 10/10!
