The Geraghty: Premier Chicago Wedding Venue

The Geraghty is one of the most versatile and visually impactful wedding venues in Chicago. As a luxury wedding photographer, what I love most about this space is its blank canvas potential, you can truly transform it into anything you can imagine. Whether my couples go for romantic and ethereal or bold and modern, the lighting, layout, and scale of The Geraghty bring every vision to life flawlessly. The clean architectural lines, soaring ceilings, and impeccable uplighting allow for editorial-style imagery in every direction. From a photography standpoint, it’s a dream. The staff is professional, attentive, and incredibly easy to work with, which makes a huge difference on wedding days. A brilliantly designed event venue from the outside in. Impeccable landscaping with breathtaking floral designs of geraniums to Hibiscus trees and more. A perfectly appointed seating area is situated at the entrance, where Valet parking is available. Ample parking can accommodate large events. Entering the venue you are met with an opulent foyer, perfect for photography opportunities and welcoming guest. The built in welcome/ host station makes registering your guests a breeze it opens into an expansive space with one of a kind designed golden chandeliers, and oversized light fixtures, a perfect contrast for the black floors that glisten with sparkling flecks and your choice of lighting hues. The bar seems to float in the space designed with an open air see through back to back look. There is a stage which provides space for excellent acoustic sounds for speakers, bands and performances. An oft unappreciated feature; the spacious powder rooms are any woman's dream with luxurious soaps and drying towels, Art Deco mirrors and side tables. Perfect for events from weddings,parties and conferences to Car shows and Trade events.

We had The Geraghty host our wedding. The event space is huge but working with Kehoe Designs and The Geraghty they designed the space to feel intimate with incredible energy. Guests were absolutely in awe and many considered it to be the coolest and best wedding they have ever attended. We had a large wedding and there were no issues with lines for bars or restrooms. The lighting was stunning and custom designed to make the perfect environment. Could not recommend The Geraghty enough for hosting your wedding or any event!

The Geraghty is a beautiful location for all types of events. They have special lighting, drapes that divide rooms off, their design team is really knowledgeable. I think for a wedding the bridal party is going to love the green room. It is the best room for the bride that I have ever seen. I highly recommend because of it’s diversity..
