The Greenpoint Loft is truly one of Brooklyn’s hidden gems—perfectly imperfect in the most enchanting way. The moment you walk in, you feel the soul of the space: the original wood beams, the worn-in floors, the character that only a century-old building can hold. It’s raw, romantic, and undeniably magical. What makes this venue so special is that it doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it is—and that’s exactly what makes it perfect. The imperfections give it personality, the textures give it warmth, and the open layout gives you the freedom to create an experience that feels authentically yours. During our wedding, the loft transformed beautifully. The natural light pouring in during the day, the glow of the string lights at night, and the panoramic rooftop views of the NYC skyline made the entire celebration feel cinematic. Guests couldn’t stop talking about the vibe—it felt intimate, lived-in, and uniquely Brooklyn. If you’re looking for a venue with charm, history, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that doesn’t need to be polished to be breathtaking, the Greenpoint Loft is it. It was the perfect backdrop for our love story—beautiful in its authenticity, and unforgettable in every way.

We attended a wedding reception tonight at the Greenpoint Loft in Brooklyn. Without a doubt, it was certainly the best dinner I've ever had at any large gathering, and probably the best meal I've ever had, period. The salad was unique in every aspect, and sumptuous. It was so complex, yet all the elements were perfectly paired, along with a beautiful presentation. Then came the sea bass - perfectly done, beautifully garnished, accompanied by a delicious combination of squash, mushrooms, and a grain that appeared to be wild rice. If that wasn't enough, the desserts ranged from wedding cake, a frozen delicacy, and more indescribable sweets. The venue was exceptionally staffed, leaving no guest waiting for anything. Never have we attended a gathering of this quality. A top flight venue!

The Greenpoint Loft was the perfect wedding venue and I am so so happy that we chose it for our wedding there on 9/7/24. We had close to 190 guests plus vendors and were struggling to find a wedding venue in Brooklyn that would accommodate that size. I initially wanted a wedding venue that was full service as I didn’t want to worry about the creatives and catering. I learned that any full service venues in Brooklyn cap guest count at about 150-160. When we went to view the space I remember talking my husband it would be a quick in and out. Well, after seeing the space I quickly changed my mind and decided that putting in the work would be worth it. The Greenpoint Loft is unique and if you have your wedding there all of your guests will say the same. It has a rustic industrial vibe that you can really make your own. The outdoor rooftop overlooking the city is great and makes for amazing sunset photos and an escape for your guest to get some fresh air. Having our wedding there in September made for the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor wedding. We did our first look at the WNC transmitter park within walking distance which allowed for outdoor/green photos, and then continued on through the street to the venue which allowed for the Brooklyn vibe photos, and then took some great shots in the courtyard on the ground floor of the building the venue is in. All to say, if you have your wedding here you have so many different options for scenery and photos and that was something that I loved! The venue staff were easy to work with, communicative, and accommodating. While the Greenpoint Loft requires you to bring in all of your vendors it also allows for you to bring your vision to life. I didn’t realize how happy I would be seeing that become a reality, so if you are on the fence about a venue that takes a little more work, don’t be, it will be worth it when you walk in! The venue also has a few vendors that have worked in the space multiple times that they can recommend and it made the process much easier being that our vendors knew the space so well. Our guests are still talking about the circular wedding ceremony set up and how unique and special that was. I would have never done that if I didn’t see it previously done at the Greenpoint Loft. They also have two private bridal suites with bathrooms on the same floor as the main space that made it super easy to get some privacy post ceremony. I was really worried about the switching of the main dance floor area post-ceremony and it being disruptive during cocktail hour. But the way that we set up the reception tables and the cocktail hour space made for a smooth and easy transition that was not disruptive at all. The venue is super spacious and you will have more than enough room on the dance floor for all of your guest with a wedding our size without feeling squished or too spread out. We were able to create the perfect vibe for our wedding, bringing in disco balls, florals, and lighting that fit our vision without having to do too much. It really was perfect. I also loved being in Brooklyn for our wedding as it was so accessible for our guests. We did our after party at a nearby brewery (Threes Brewing Greenpoint) which was a 3 minute walk from the venue and made for an easy transition post wedding. I would recommend the Greenpoint Loft to anyone looking to have their wedding in Brooklyn!

We got married at Greenpoint Loft in June, and it was incredible. I was initially concerned about the blank space aspect, but our caterers handled everything perfectly, so it wasn't a huge deal. There is only one elevator up to the venue, although it is large. We had our guests come early for champagne to ensure everyone was up in time. Apparently, there was a line, but we started on time, so it all worked out. Our top tip: get married in the round (circle shape)! It's such a unique feature of this venue, and being surrounded by friends and family was amazing. We received so many compliments on this setup. The AC works wonders, so don't worry about the temperature. However, be cautious of the steep stairs; we did have one guest take a tumble. The cocktail hour upstairs was really cool, and the views are unbeatable. We took pictures downstairs in the alleyway and at Transmitter Park, which was great. Overall, I would definitely recommend Greenpoint Loft! Having a blank space venue allows you to direct your funds to the areas most important to you. Our vendors were awesome too: Creative Foods Catering, Unruffled Bride Planning, Adam Okimatsu Photography, Kraft & Co Florals, ULS for lighting, and The Hook Club as our DJ Band!

Greenpoint Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding! The size was comfortable and spacious for our 100-person celebration and our guests have reiterated that to us ever since. The mezzanine and rooftop in addition to the main space gave people an opportunity to disconnect from the dance floor to view the party from above and enjoy the skyline and fresh air. I was delighted that I could see the Empire State Building from my seat at the dinner table and loved the natural light streaming through the skylights during the ceremony. We planned the wedding ourselves and all communications with the venue were quick and efficient, as was scheduling a tour. Their preferred vendor list is sizable and is where we found both our caterer and coordinator who were great. It was enormously helpful that they already knew the space and if you’re not sure where to start with hiring vendors, start with the preferred vendor list!
