Liberty House Wedding & Event Venue

Our wedding could not have been any better, thanks to Liberty House and their wonderful staff. Aurora was our contact at Liberty House, and she had everything down to a science. I never had to stress about anything. She answered all of our questions quickly and never made me feel dumb for asking the simplest of questions. I truly appreciated her guidance. The food at Liberty House was divine. Truly, their chefs are a league above others. The options we had for food selections were incredible, and we're so happy with everything we picked. Our guests still talk about the mozzarella station! On the day of the wedding, the staff was, in short, flawless. Once we arrived, they were attentive and got us and our wedding party anything we needed. When sending over our décor, I had given them a rough idea of how we wanted things to look. But I never imagined that they'd set up everything so beautifully! They took my one-sentence description and turned it into a masterpiece. Throughout the night, the staff was always there to help. From walking in my dress to getting me hot water when I was freezing, they were always ready to help. When my drink was low, they got me a new one. When I started to leave without my shoes on, they grabbed me some flip flops. When we decided last-minute that we wanted to have a rehearsal dinner at the Madison Rose, they made the process seamless. My wedding wasn't stressful. I felt like a guest at my wedding thanks to their staff. The grounds are gorgeous, the food is to die for, and the staff is exceptional!

Our wedding at Liberty House was absolutely beautiful — the venue itself is stunning, the food was incredible, and the wait staff went above and beyond throughout the night. Everything ran smoothly, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the atmosphere and the meal. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a major issue the following day. We were appalled to learn that our centerpieces had been taken by the staff before we arrived to pick them up, despite having confirmed with Aurora that we would be retrieving them the next morning. When we brought this up, there was no accountability or effort made to resolve the situation, which was extremely disappointing after such an otherwise perfect day. Overall, Liberty House is a gorgeous venue with exceptional service throughout the night of our wedding!

I’ve photographed multiple weddings at Liberty House, and it’s hands down one of my favorite venues in the area. The photo opportunities here are endless — from the natural light-filled ballroom to the waterfront views with the Manhattan skyline in the background. If you're lucky enough to have a wedding here in late April, there’s a gorgeous cherry blossom alley that makes for magical portraits. The indoor ceremony setup is solid and works really well as a rain plan, which is always something I look for as a photographer. The food is always great, and the space is open and thoughtfully laid out — never feels tight or overcrowded, even with big guest counts. The only thing I’d plan around is the bridal suite. It’s on the small side, so I usually recommend couples get ready off-site and arrive for the first look or ceremony. But once you're there, everything flows beautifully. Definitely a venue that photographs as well as it feels.

We had our wedding at Liberty House, and to say it was perfect would be an understatement. From start to finish, the experience was beyond anything we could have imagined — even with a last-minute weather shift that could’ve thrown everything off. It rained for an hour, which meant our outdoor ceremony had to be moved. The Liberty House team transitioned the ceremony into the reception room so quickly and beautifully that it felt like it had been the plan all along. It was seamless, elegant, and still carried all the magic we had dreamed of. Danielle Villa was our planner and honestly, we can’t say enough about her. She was incredible — professional, calming, and truly dedicated to making our day unforgettable. She made herself available on weekends, late nights, and any time we needed a call or check-in. We trusted her completely with one of the most important days of our lives, and she outdid herself in every way possible. Danielle didn’t just help us plan a wedding — she ran the show with grace and precision. Gabby, our day-of assistant, was also incredible. My husband and I didn’t even have a chance to think about a drink or a bite to eat — she made sure we were always taken care of, without us even realizing how much she was doing behind the scenes. Every little detail, every moment, Gabby was right there, keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring we were comfortable and stress-free. The staff overall was phenomenal — warm, attentive, and professional. The view was absolutely insane (you just can’t beat that NYC skyline backdrop), and the food… wow. Every bite was incredible, and our guests are still talking about it. We genuinely can’t thank Liberty House enough for making our wedding the most beautiful, stress-free, and special day of our lives. If you’re considering having your wedding there — do it. You will be in the absolute best hands!!

Great food and great view! We had the Tomahawk steak set for two and the size was enough for 3 of us. Main reason to come here was its great harbor view and proximity to the Liberty State park. The food quality was beyond our expectations and we really enjoyed the setting and food.
