Villa Aurelia: Rome’s Premier Wedding Venue

Beautiful historic building. The grounds are very well maintained. My son's wedding took place here on April 30th, 2024, I highly recommend this place as a wedding venue.

Very nice location in the middle of a green hill. Very clean facilities, but… my tiny room was very austere and tatty. The bathroom had seen better days. Tiny shower with shower head spraying in all directions and held together with tape. The mirror cabinet lacked shelves and was dangerously sharp and the doors kept falling open. Some towels were worn to the thread, skirting boards were falling off, the glass curtain was hanging off the rod, windows had shutters that were closed on arrival, only to notice when you opened them, that you were looking at a wall and had no view. In addition, the rooms were very noisy. Every sound from the hallway and adjacent rooms could be heard. The bar was closed as the bartender was ill with Covid, so it was said. No replacement, no possibility to have a drink, no room service, no bar nor safe in the room. Only a vending machine in the hallway at the reception. Maybe there were better rooms, but in a group you don't have a choice, so for me it was a disappointment.

Perfect for timeless photos- indoor or outdoor reception - breathtaking view.
