The wait is finally over for the most awaited wedding when everyone will witness the extravagant Pre-Wedding Functions Of Anant Ambani. While Anant and Radhika are set to tie the knot on July 12, ‘2024, they’re tightly packed in the pre-wedding festivities. As per sources, the pre-wedding functions will take place in Jamnagar, Gujarat, from the 1st to the 3rd of March.
The internet is brimming with well wishes for the couple. The festivities have already begun with Anna Seva being held for the local community of Jogwad village. People delved into the delish and traditional Gujarati cuisine. Over 50,000 people were served as the couple sought their blessings.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant: Pre-Wedding Celebrations
The pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant kicked off on Wednesday with Anna Seva at the Jogwad village near Reliance Township in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Mukesh Ambani, along with his son Anant Ambani and other Ambani family members, recently served traditional Gujarati food to villagers. Radhika’s maternal grandmother and parents, Viren and Shaila Merchant, also participated in the Anna Seva.
The Ambani family hosted Anna Seva to receive blessings from the local community for the pre-wedding festivities of Anant and Radhika. Following the meal, the guests were seen enjoying traditional folk music performed by famous Gujarati singer Kirtidan Gadhvi. Serving food has long been a tradition in the Ambani family, with meals being served during important family events, including weddings.
The Ambani family is set to host a three-day gala event from March 1 to 3 in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The first day of the ceremony will be a cocktail party, which is named ‘An Evening in Everland.’ Reports suggest that the attire for the cocktail party is elegant cocktail attire. This implies that all the wedding guests will be wearing cocktail attire on the first day of the gala event. Guests will enjoy ‘A Walk on the Wildside’ on the second day and should wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Following that, guests will be joining ‘Mela Rouge’ in the evening and are expected to wear traditional Indian attire. The final theme of the ceremony is ‘Hastakshar,’ in which guests will celebrate India’s cultural heritage on March 3, 2024.
According to reports, approximately 1,000 guests are expected to join the couple’s pre-wedding festivities. The guest list includes some of the prominent figures from various industries, including entertainment, politics, sports, and so on. Some of the prominent figures include Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, and Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger. In addition, Gautam Adani and Sunil Bharti Mittal, along with Bollywood celebs Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, and cricket legends including Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni are expected to join in the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
Speaking about their wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Anant Ambani said that he is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Wed in India’ initiative. Anant mentioned that Jamnagar holds a special place in their lives as his grandmother was born in Jamnagar, and also his grandfather, Dhirubhai Ambani, and father, Mukesh Ambani, began their business in the same place.
In a statement, Anant said, “I have grown up here, and I feel lucky that we could organize the celebration in this place. This place holds great significance for my family. It was a matter of joy and pride when our PM mentioned the importance of getting married in India. This is my humble abode. According to my father, we are celebrating here because this is my dada’s sasural (in-laws’ house). Anant Ambani stated, “I also believe I am from Jamnagar, yahin ka nagarik hun.”
