Celebrate at Snug Harbor: Staten Island Wedding Venue

We couldn’t have picked a better place! We had our engagement party at Celebrate at Snug Harbor and it was truly the most perfect night. The Upper Great Hall is absolutely stunning — it has this romantic, timeless feel with the most beautiful windows and architecture. The team made everything so easy from start to finish. They helped me with every detail — from the décor and linens to the food and our custom cocktail — and it all turned out better than I imagined. The staff went above and beyond to make the night seamless so we could just enjoy ourselves, and they were so kind and attentive the entire time. The food was amazing, the service was incredible, and the space couldn’t have been more beautiful. I’m so grateful we chose Snug Harbor — it’s such a hidden gem and the perfect place to celebrate something special!

I had my wedding on 9/26/25 and the venue looked so beautiful! Even better than when I toured it back in November. Carmela and Mona were so helpful and accommodating during the planning process. There were so many last minute changes and hiccups like transportation vendors falling through, but Carmela was able to help me book last minute transportation that was even bigger than I was expecting! Everything went so much better than I imagined and all the guests were so impressed with the venue and food! Evette (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was my bridal attendant the day of. She was fantastic, made sure I was no longer on my phone, helped with transportation throughout the venue and kept me calm during the ceremony. I can’t thank them enough for making this day so special!

Relish Catering served the most delicious food at my daughter’s bridal shower this month, at the Upper Great Hall, at the stellar Snug Harbor, Staten Island! Every single guest told me personally how delicious the food was and how fabulous the wait staff was. Their bartender went above and beyond, according to my guests! I worked hand in hand with Celebration’s Event Planner Kenzie C. She paid close attention to every detail and helped to make my daughter’s bridal shower a tremendous success. We will most certainly schedule future events with Kenzie and Relish Catering/Celebrations at Snug Harbor. 🎉🥳🎼❤️

Our wedding day at Snug Harbor (6/8/2024) was like stepping into a fairy tale. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the beauty of the grounds left us speechless. Working with Mona, our event specialist, was an absolute pleasure. She was so sweet and easy to work with, making the planning process a breeze. Alva was our bridal attendant that day, she was kind and attentive to our needs, even driving us all over the grounds for photos. And special thanks to Josephine for stepping in. She was incredibly accommodating and flexible, ensuring that everything ran smoothly despite the transition of event of coordinators in the middle of the year. The food was spectacular! Our guests are still talking about how delicious the cocktail spread was – a true highlight of the evening. They were able to take in our requests and create an Indian Station for our guests. The only issue was that some of the wait staff were unable to let guests know if the food was vegetarian or not. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and the food delicious!! Now, while the grounds were stunning, there were a few spots that could use a little TLC. The overgrown maze in the Secret Garden was a bit of a disappointment since we couldn't explore it as we had hoped. One small hiccup was the confusion around the shuttle drop-off for guests, especially for the start of the baraat. It was more of an issue with the Shuttle company itself. But honestly, these were just minor blips on an otherwise perfect day. Overall, our wedding at Snug Harbor was everything we could have dreamed of and more. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and lots of colorful memories – thanks to the wonderful team at Snug Harbor! -Jackie & Kethan

My husband and I had our wedding here in September 2024 and we could not have been happier with our choice of venue. We went with Snug Harbor because we were tired of boring old catering halls that had no substance to them. Every other venue we toured gave us the impression that we were just another number/wedding for them. Snug was FAR from that. From our first communications with Josephine, we felt so welcomed. The staff seemed like REAL people who REALLY care about you. Once we toured the grounds, we knew this is where we wanted to have our special day! Josephine and Mona were in contact with my husband and I every step of the way. Answering my (MANY) questions professionally and in a very timely manner. They were a true pleasure to work with and I honestly miss coordinating wtih them. We were to have our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour in the Tuscan Garden and our Reception in the Great Hall. Unfortunately for us, it rained on our wedding day and I was so bummed out because I was so looking forward to our wedding in the beautiful garden. Mona and the team were quick to come up with the best plan to have it indoors and, honestly, I was FLOORED with how beautiful and intimate our indoor ceremony was. It was as if this was the plan all along and not something we had to change literally hours before the ceremony. We ended up having our ceremony and reception in the Great Hall and our Cocktail Hour in a really cute room downstairs. The staff was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. I was so happy with the way everything turned out. As for the food...Our guests were SOOO impressed. When my husband and I went to the taste testing, we could not believe the quality and presentation from Relish Catering company, who is the sole caterer for Snug. We KNEW the food was going to be show stopping. It was one of the things we were most excited about. Unfortunately, we were SO busy that day that I couldn't enjoy every single item on the menu. But thats just how it is for the bride and groom. I wish I had been a guest at my wedding because wow! Everything really did look delicious! Our day was genuinely so perfect even if we didn't envision having an indoor ceremony. The spaces were so beautiful but honestly, the staff really was what sealed the deal for us in working with Snug.
