Charlton House & Gardens Wedding Venue

I had a lovely time at Charlton House. I was pleasantly surprised at all there was too see. Although there are some signs up I think I would have missed a lot if I hadn't used the guide available on Izi.travel. Using the guide I even learnt a bit about Mulberries. The weather was lovely and the gardens back on to Charlton Park so there is lots to explore outside. Inside I spoke to a little person who told me there was dress up in one of the rooms....I resisted this time. I went on a Tuesday and it was my lucky day as they have live music in the library every Tuesday lunchtime (check the website for times and musicians) Shout out to the gardener volunteers who were super friendly as they beavered away.

Fantastic place! There’s a Mulberry tree outside and that is still going from the 1600s. Had some ripe mulberries off the tree. The tea room inside serves excellent scones and there’s always something going on at the park to watch if you eat outside.

Had a lovely morning making Christmas Wreaths, lots of families together and tech away, it was lovely and the staff today were friendly, helpful and welcoming Thank you 😀

What a beautiful building. Originally completed in 1607 and in perfect condition today. I hope my photos do it justice. I can see why people hire these rooms for functions.

Great place! I took part of a MET police event, community crime fighting. Very informative and people wanting to change things for the better.
