The Estate on the Halifax Wedding Venue

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than the Estate on the Halifax! The entire venue is absolutely beautiful and we got so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue was. There are so many areas to explore and take beautiful photos in the gorgeous gardens! Cara was incredible to work with throughout the entire process as well!

As a photographer, I’ve had the joy of capturing an engagement session and two weddings at this venue, and it’s quickly become one of my favorites! The property’s layout is so unique and offers endless variety for photos. The chapel is charming and timeless, while the bridal house (which can also serve as the couple’s overnight suite) is incredibly spacious, full of character, and perfect for getting ready. It makes the whole wedding day flow so smoothly, and the convenience of staying on-site after the reception is such a plus. The vintage train car for the groomsmen is truly one-of-a-kind and always a guest favorite! Honestly, if I had discovered this venue before booking my own wedding, I would have chosen it in a heartbeat. In fact, my roommate fell in love with it and got married here—just 10 days after my own wedding—and I felt so lucky to photograph her special day in such a magical setting.

And it truly was an absolutely perfect day. ​From the moment we arrived, the entire property felt like stepping into another time and place. It’s impossible not to be charmed by the historic elegance and unique atmosphere of the grounds. The Estate is the perfect place to have your perfect wedding, regardless of your theme or aesthetic. ​✨ Highlights of Our Day ​Ceremony & Reception: We held our ceremony in the beautiful chapel and the reception in the atmospheric Tavern. Both spaces are stunning and perfectly maintained, providing an elegant backdrop for our celebration. ​Unique Preparation Spaces: The preparation spaces are truly one-of-a-kind. My groomsmen and I got ready and relaxed in the super cool vintage train car—a unique touch that made for incredible photos. My wife and her party loved getting ready in the beautiful, comfortable Agatha’s Guesthouse. ​🤝 Outstanding Service & Support ​A special mention must be made of Cara, the property manager. Cara was fantastic to work with; she is quick to answer any questions you may have and was invaluable in giving us many excellent recommendations depending on our needs (including catering, entertainment, lighting, and more). Having her expertise made the planning process so much smoother. ​We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a memorable, all-in-one location!

With my husband we wanted to thank Cara and all the team from The Estate for everything, we had a blast and everything was perfect in our wedding day, the food was amazing and we wanted to thank all the team for all the work and help. The fact that you have this package that allows to enjoy the venue, stay overnight in Agatha’s house and includes the food made everything so special and easy to work with. I can not express how AMAZING our experience with the ESTATES ON THE HAILFAX was. My youngest daughter had her wedding on 6/24/25, !and the venue was above and beyond PERFECT ! Everything was top-notch, and so Kara was awesome to work with. The property and grounds are stunning and great opportunities for the perfect wedding photos. I highly recommend this venue. The best part for us is that it is a place where everything is all in one location. You start your day with Agatha cottage for the bridal party, which starts their hair and makeup. They have their own chaple and reception hall. There is no need to worry about anything else. I highly recommend The Estates on the Hailfax. 10 out of 10 THE BEST. Thank you again. The Creticos Family
