Room 1520: Chicago Wedding Venue

Im sitting here at my little brother's wedding right now and I am so surprised by the quality of the food here. Everything tastes amazing and is fresh! Bar and overall service is fantastic! Amazing staff!!!!! Shout out blake

My now husband and I wanted no more than 150 people at our wedding. Room 1520 was perfect because that is the maximum guest limit for a plated dinner! Celeste, the co-owner of the venue, is so easy to work with! She is warm, friendly, and truly wants your event to be successful. She gives you a detailed brochure with information on the required bar package you choose, experienced vendors that make wedding planning so much easier, and approved caterers. Because of all of this excellent information, my husband and I were able to plan our wedding and reception ourselves in 6 months. We were able to load in our wedding and reception items 2 days before our wedding. The bar mirror was personalized prior to our rehearsal. We completed our rehearsal the night before our wedding. On the day of the wedding, we utilized the gorgeous bridal suite for getting ready, the many beautiful on site photography locations, had the wedding ceremony, flipped the room during cocktail hour, and then had our reception. Celeste’s hired staff are relaxed, fun, and host a great party! Max, the Manager on site for the day, was extremely helpful and accommodating for anything we needed. We highly recommend Room 1520!

Working with both the staff at Room 1520 & the location itself many times over the years, we have grown to absolutely love this venue! From the flexibility of the space to the options provided in their packages, our clients have absolutely loved their experiences. The space is simple yet modern. The staff is amazing and prepared for everything an event could throw at them. By far, our favorite thing is how amazing the space looks with a little decor and filled with your family and friends! Our clients love our Photo Booth experience and how the setup in the front of the venue is perfectly placed by the bar, allowing their guests to freely roam the space after dinner without feeling cramped or crowded. We highly recommend having your next event at Room 1520!

We loved our time at Room 1520, it truly fulfilled our wedding dreams! Not only was the space amazing, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything went smoothly. Celeste and her team were responsive and supportive from the moment we toured the venue to clean up after the wedding. The location was also a huge plus–it allowed us to make great hotel reservations downtown and the team was great about coordinating to make sure everyone could arrive comfortably and return home safely. Celeste and her team are incredibly skilled and made our wedding a breeze!

I'm a wedding photographer who recently photographed a wedding at Room 1520. I love the space! It is on the smaller side but has everything you need for great photos: a cute bridal suite, a rooftop for sunset photos (facing away from city skyline, just a heads up), seating areas, blank walls, natural light and helpful staff. They also have a lovely outdoor courtyard/alley area with bistro lights that is excellent for night portraits or a sparkler send off (photo examples below).
