A very special thank-you goes to Megan, the wedding coordinator. She was absolutely incredible—responsive, organized, and attentive to every detail. Anything we asked for was handled with urgency and care, and her support was instrumental in making the entire weekend run flawlessly. She was a huge part of our success and helped us enjoy the celebration without worry. The venue itself perfectly reflects the charm and beauty of the Texas Hill Country. The lodging options on-site were a huge benefit, allowing the entire wedding party to stay together and enjoy the full weekend experience. The Chapel is absolutely stunning, perched above a flowing creek that creates a peaceful, picturesque backdrop. Moon Shadow Haven also offers a breathtaking creekside ceremony area, especially magical in the fall with the changing colors—truly unforgettable. Absolutely stunning and so easy to work with. The venue itself truly doesn’t need much décor—the chandeliers and overall style speak for themselves. The chapel is just as beautiful, and the on-site lodging was a huge plus. We worked with both Megan and Libby throughout the process, and Megan was our venue coordinator on wedding day. She went above and beyond and was incredibly hands-on. I would 1000% recommend them and hiring their in house coordinator to run your wedding day. (we hired externally and wish I just hired them)

The property also features cabins for you and your family's stay for your big day, readyrooms for bridal party and groomsmen, a luxurious terrace perfect for cocktail hour, and an elegant reception hall.

As a wedding planner and coordinator I visit SOO many venues. I have to say that Moon Shadow Haven was OUTSTANDING. From the moment we did a walk through of the venue to the clean up after the wedding, Moon Shadow Haven was a joy to work with. If you are looking for a venue where the owners actually care with picture perfect scenery throughout the entire location and on site accommodations, Moon Shadow Haven is the place to be. Moon Shadow Haven is peaceful, quiet and beautiful. A good balance of secluded and private, but still close enough to a town (15 min.) to purchase necessities or eat at a restaurant. The grounds are well kept with a beautiful creek running along the back of the property. Awesome sunsets with numerous porches and benches to relax outside. Deer freely roam the property adding to the overall tranquility. The cabins are tidy, with a lot of cool, antique features including a clawfoot tub and old Singer sewing machine converted to a table. Hosts, Jim and Jane are very kind and hospitable people. They opened up their cabins to ourselves and numerous out of town first responders during the Guadalupe River flooding. We can't thank them enough for their generosity and providing us with a peaceful place to sleep and decompress from the stress of the day. It truly is a Haven as the name suggests.
