Actor Gauhar Khan has finally tied the knot with Zaid Darbar in an intimate wedding celebration in ITC Maratha, Mumbai. The couple got hitched in the presence of their close family members and friends.
The couple is in the headlines for quite a few days ever since the new bride shared a beautiful digital wedding invite with her fans on her Instagram handle. The two who began their love story during the coronavirus lockdown are now Mrs. & Mr. The couple recently flew to Pune for a royal pre-wedding photoshoot. The 37-year-old actress wanted to have her pre-wedding photoshoot in a royal location; that is why they decided to get it done at the historical Fort Jadhavgadh Hotel in Pune.
The couple’s wedding festivities began on December 22, and now they celebrated Christmas in a grand way by tying the knots. The actress looked mesmerizing in her royal ivory outfits and the groom also looked awesome in his sherwani.
Keeping the COVID-19 restrictions and the safety standards in mind, the couple squeezed their guest’s list, and therefore, not many celebs were spotted at the big ceremony.
On Monday, Gauhar and Zaid took part in Chiksa Ceremony, after which the actress took to her Instagram and shared some stunning pictures, which she captioned: “When half of me met half of you, and together the better halves shaped our beautiful moments.”
Gauhar’s brother-in-law, Awez Darbar, who is a famous Youtuber, also shared a few photos of himself and the couple on his Instagram handle. One of the pictures that he shared was of himself and Gauhar that he captioned: “Mere brother ki hone wali Dulhan (My brother’s wife-to-be)”
The actress wore a beautiful yellow lehenga with golden and red work on it and floral jewelry during her chiksa ceremony, and she looked amazingly beautiful. While, Zaid wore a yellow and white kurta pajama, and he looked very handsome in it.
