On Sunday, Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra And Raghav Chadha tied the knot in a private ceremony held in Udaipur. The Ishaqzaade actress got married to his friend from college days, Raghav, who is a prominent leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The two got married in a beautiful Punjabi wedding ceremony. The event was graced by their loved ones, including family and friends.
The wedding was a lavish and glamorous event attended by numerous Bollywood celebrities and politicians.
Wedding Attire
Parineeti sported an exquisite embroidered outfit, which was said to be designed by the renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Meanwhile, the groom donned an indo-western ethnic costume. Parineeti’s lehenga was exquisitely adorned with detailed hand embroidery, a labor-intensive process that took an impressive 2500 hours to complete. The piece featured beautiful metal sequins, Nakshi work, and linear geometric patterns, all handcrafted with vintage gold threads. The intricate details of the mesh blouse were a beautiful complement. The tulle veil was adorned with a pearl border and intricately embroidered with the groom’s name, Raghav, in Devnagari script. The traditional badla work technique of Zardozi was used to create this stunning design.
The actress wore shoes from Fizzy Goblet that were made just for her. She opted for a more casual look, with minimal embroidery and statement jewellery, in order to highlight her features.
She accessorised with Mrinalini Chandra pink chooda, lehenga latkans, and gold kaleeras that cascaded from bangles. Parineeti hand-selected all the details very carefully to make her wedding ceremony unique and one-of-a-kind!
Wedding Photos
The newlyweds shared wedding photos on their respective social media platforms the day after the wedding.
The couple took to their Instagram to share their wedding images with their fans and followers and wrote, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs!”
Parineeti’s cousin, actor Priyanka Chopra, who couldn’t make for the wedding was the first to comment on photos. She wrote, “My blessings always.” she wrote.
The wedding ceremony of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha took place in The Leela Palace, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The Leela Palace is one of the most beautiful properties in Rajasthan. It is situated near the scenic Lake Pichola in Udaipur, Rajasthan, providing couples with the most scenic backdrops for wedding images. The pre-wedding festivities began two days ago, which included the mehendi, haldi, and sangeet ceremonies.
The couple also participated in Ardas, the Sikh congregational prayer, at a gurdwara in New Delhi.
The wedding ceremony of RagNeeti (the married name of Parineeti and Raghav), commenced with the groom’s sehrabandi at the Taj Lake Palace. Following this, the baraatis arrived at The Leela Palace on a beautifully decorated boat that showcased elements of Mewar tradition. The couple opted for a modest and understated theme for their wedding, which was pastel.
Several notable figures from the political world and entertainment industry attended the wedding. RagNeeti’s wedding guests also included VIP guests, such as Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray, tennis star Sania Mirza, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, and Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh. Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti’s cousin and fellow actor, did not attend the wedding. However, she has been expressing her love and support for her sister and Raghav Chadha through social media messages.
Raghav and Parineeti, who are both Punjabis, got engaged in May at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. Last year, the couple Photography leaving a restaurant in Mumbai, which sparked rumours about their relationship. However, they did not publicly confirm their relationship until the engagement.
