Now, the couple is preparing to get married once again. The couple plans to host a traditional Indian wedding in Goa next year, either in January or February.
In an interview, Sreejita happily mentioned that her parents will be joining her and her partner, Michael, in Mumbai to celebrate the festive season. Additionally, she shared that Michael’s parents will be traveling from Germany to attend their Indian wedding.
The couple wanted to host their traditional wedding in November this year. However, the whole plan got postponed due to their work commitments. That’s why they planned to celebrate it the next year, either in January or in February in Goa. They choose this time of the year as this is one of the best times to be in Goa. It is pleasant and beautiful during these months in Goa.
Her parents wanted her to host her wedding in Kolkata; however, she expressed her desire to host it in Goa. Undoubtedly, Goa is one of the most sought-after wedding destinations in the world.
Since Sreejita is Bengali, she plans to host a traditional Bengali wedding. Speaking about her wedding plans, she said that her Indian wedding would follow the traditional Bengali customs and include various ceremonies and rituals, such as mehendi and haldi.
Speaking about her wedding in Goa, she said, “Both of us share a love for the beach, and Goa holds a special place in our hearts. We have been in the state for eight months during the lockdown period. That was the moment we fell in love with the place. While my parents preferred to have the wedding in Kolkata, I insisted that it take place in Goa.”
